The Guanaco Company is rooted in the vast, open terrain of Patagonia where guanacos have roamed for millennia. We chose this name because the most extraordinary materials don't come from farms or factories. They come from places that resist domestication.
The Guanaco Company is not a brand built on exclusivity for its own sake. The rarity of guanaco fiber is a fact of nature—a wild population, a protected species, a fleece that can only be gathered once every two to three years. We work within these constraints, not because scarcity is our strategy, but because it's the truth of our material.
